Coming from a business background, Malay passionately believes in enabling individuals to create a financially independent future for themselves.
Over time each of the friends got distracted from societal architects by unsurprising realities that come with growing up like further education, career building... you know the cliches.
Nonetheless, societal architects continued to function on the down-low through its very first initiative, sponsoring primary education.
After 13 years, the three friends banded together again, reinvigorating, rethinking and re-branding their initiative as ilika
ilika represents the next phase of the dream held by the three friends as they ramp up their efforts and work on helping the society as working adults.

The story began with three friends looking to make a difference after completing their schooling together. With nothing but possibilities in sight, they began an initiative named Societal Architects in the year 2011, where they pledged to help society in any manner they deemed fit.
They started taking up all kinds of social work. From sponsoring underprivileged children through school and providing meals to construction workers to tutoring children on the streets of Carter Road, they hurled themselves into new and unfamiliar territories where they might be able to contribute to society.
All these endeavors were not only fueled with youthful passion but were a part of a conscious and collective mindset to give back...
